7.3 Homework

1. Read chapter 8 in Writing Arguments. Please create (at least) 5 questions you still have regarding rhetoric, writing, literacy, argumentation, argument analysis, etc. Turn in your typed or handwritten questions in hard copy on Monday.

2. Complete Blog Post #1.

3. Locate and analyze a text of your choosing for the Argument Analysis. You are free to use any of the appropriate articles on the Bibliography page as well as the listed visual texts on the assignment page. To perform a rhetorical analysis on your text, use the "Aristotelian Appeals: Logos, Ethos, and Pathos" sheet (provided in class on Wednesday) as your guide. Bring in any notes you may have from your analysis to class on Monday. You might also utilize this document to help you determine which rhetorical devices are being used.

These are each due on Monday, July 7th.
