Schedule an appointment to meet one-on-one with a writing tutor. This is a free service to all UF students. Not only will tutors assist students with academic papers, but they are also available for brainstorming, application essays, lab reports, etc.

Purdue Online Writing Lab
This is the most commonly used website for accurate APA and MLA citation references, though it is also contains various other writing guidelines and document formats.
Cornell Bluebook Citation Guide
Students interested in pursuing a career in law should use Bluebook citation formats.

Specific citation guidelines for students in engineering fields.

First Year Engineers
A website written by a first year UF engineering student providing a plethora of writing-based tips specifically for engineering students.
Vancouver Style Reference Page
Michener Institute's reference for styling Vancouver citations. This type of citation format is most often used in the medical sciences.
ACS Style Guide
Students in chemistry and physical sciences should refer to UW-Madison's ACS style guide.
