1. Read Monster Making by Edward J. Ingebretsen. This article is somewhat lengthy compared to most of everything else we will be reading this semester. Therefore, it is important to take your time and perform a close reading on this text. In other words, read this through slowly and carefully so that you understand what exactly the author is arguing for and how he is providing evidence (reasons) for his claims.
2. Begin working on the Diagnostic Writing Assignment. This assignment is considerably short, so it shouldn't take very long to complete it. The Diagnostic Writing assignment is due Thursday, 7.3.
